Born in Huntington, New York learning to sing as she got older, Mariah Carey has become one of the most well known and beloved pop and R&B artists in America. As of recently, she’s been performing exclusively in Las Vegas for her concert residency: The Butterfly Returns. So far, she’s performed on July 14th and 15th, and will be doing another few performances in just a few weeks from now. With proper and light use of our industrial carbon dioxide tanks, the lights can reflect off of the transparent gas. This makes it so that you can see the rays from stage lights shine through. Even when the lights are being rotated, you’ll see the rays move with it too. This method of using CO2 is also how lasers are seen shooting clearly through the air. As long as the CO2 is handled properly, subtle aesthetics like this are possible.
There are a few other ways to use a CO2 tank in these fun occasions. Confetti cannons, cryo cannons, and cryo guns are common special effect mechanisms capable create some spontaneous hype by blasting confetti or puffs of smoke into the air. They’re the perfect fit for celebrations, festivals, and in many cases, movie productions.
Anyway, Mairah Carey will be at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace another 6 times. We’ve got a few weeks to wait until the next show, but if you ever plan on heading to The Colosseum in Las Vegas, maybe seeing one of the most popular icons in music perform wouldn’t be too bad of an idea. The Butterfly Returns is a bit more interesting compared to your usual everyday concerts.
