We’ve got another music tour to make industrial gas deliveries to. This one tour involves two artists: Five Finger Death Punch & Brantley Gilbert. You may be wondering how a pairing like this is possible, given that these two have different styles.
Brantley Gilbert is an American country rock singer, while Five Finger Death Punch is an American heavy metal band. Brantley’s been in the music business since 2007. Just last month, on November 10th, he released his 6th studio album: So Help Me God. Meanwhile, FFDP first rocked the world in 2007 with their debut album The Way of the Fist. Since then, several of their albums have been certified Platinum and they’re considered to be one of the most successful heavy metal bands out there. The band now consists of Zoltan Bathory, Ivan Moody, Chris Kael, Charlie Engen, Andy James.
This is quite an unlikely & unexpected pairing when you consider each artist’s work and audience, but hey, it’s real, and it’s been happening for a month already. Where we come into the picture is the role we play in their special event. We at CO2 Masters work behind the scenes of the tour to prepare each venue they visit with our CO2 & propane cylinders and special effect installations. Since these two started touring together on November 9th, we’ve delivered to 19 venues in support of their performance. Our gas tank installations are for special fx equipment.
Concerts and music festivals use special effect machines to create visual effects that dynamically change the vibe of any performance. Typically, you’ll find pyrotechnics and cryo machines making smoke puffs and wispy fog. This also allows for lasers and stage lights to shine their colorful beams throughout the venue. Propane tanks can be the source of firework and cold spark machines. Those will light up the open spaces around and in the back of the stage with short fire bursts and sparkles. These were all used in the past 19 locations that FFDP & Brantley Gilbert went to touring together.
We got our CO2 and propane tanks over to those venues fast. From there, our installation teams get straight to work in making sure the gas cylinders are prepared and functioning as they should. We’re gonna be delivering to and servicing the stages of three more venues:
12/13: Spokane Arena (Spokane, WA)
12/15: Ford Idaho Center Arena (Nampa, ID)
12/17: Michelob ULTRA Arena (Las Vegas, NV)
Maybe you’ll be seeing these two at one of these locations. These are the last three places they’ll be visiting together. After this, Brantley Gilbert will visit the Brickie Bowl in Hobart, IN on January 3rd 2023. Five Finger Death Punch will be in Europe in the spring.
